Remember AIM instant messenger? Slack has embodied everything AIM was, and kicked it up about 50 notches. On the surface, it’s an instant messenger; but you can further create topic-related chat groups within your organization and add attachments like .png, .jpeg, and .mp4. It also has a dedicated application for both Apple and Window devices. Slack helps us keep all work-related correspondences in one place, and we love that! On-the-go? No problem– just download the app and hit the road!
What can we say about Google that hasn’t already been said? The whole Google Suite is essential to our internal organization. It’s perfect for effortlessly tying in emails, sending and organizing calendar invites to our clients, documents, spreadsheets, and the occasional slide deck.
Google has been leading the movement for collaboration. With Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, multiple people can be on the document live-editing as it automatically saves, making “divide and conquer” easier than ever before.
